No Man’s Sky Update Patch 1.08 Out Now On PS4; Notes Created By Reddit

You may have noticed that update patch 1.08 has now been released for the PS4 version of No Man’s Sky. Reddit has compiled some of the changes.

Hello Games usually releases update patches without saying what the actual notes are. The only official notes for the new No Man’s Sky patch are “bug fixes”.

Thankfully, a Reddit thread has been created and many users have posted some of the changes that they have noticed so far. Hello Games is in the middle of trying to fix the game as much as it can before releasing any DLC.

Some of the improvements are that the game doesn’t freeze when you are saving after a location. Another change noticed by users is that loading up the galaxy loading screen is smoother than it was before the patch came out.

However, some users have been reporting that patch 1.08 has made some areas of No Man’s Sky worse. Some have noticed that there has been an adjustment to space combat making it harder to lock-on.
