Overwatch on PC has gotten its latest patch through the Public Test Realm, which will be gearing the game up for Competitive Play season 2. This means that players can get a taste of what’s to come with season 2 next month, though none of their progress will carry over once it officially launches.
While there are number of things that will be changing with season 2, one of the biggest changes has to do with the character Genji. The cyborg ninja will be getting a nerf with this new patch, which will cause his double jump to no longer reset when wall climbing. Also, his dash will no longer deal damage or be able to get out of Junkrat’s Steel Trap and his Swift Strike can no longer interrupt quick melees. Finally, his ultimate move called Dragonblade has had its duration reduced to six seconds.
Elsewhere in the patch we have changes like Zenyatta’s Discord Orb damage being reduced to 30% from from 50%, though his base damage has been increased from 40 to 46. Hanzo’s aiming speed is now a 30% decrease instead of 40%.
