A brand new science fiction shooter from Epic Games, Paragon, has been announced to be in development for a release sometime in 2016 for PC. The teaser trailer released with the news, shows off the protagonist, Twinblast, who dons red robotic arms while dual-wielding futuristic handguns.
The official website that has been released along with the announcement, details four other characters: Steel, Dekker, Sparrow, and Grux. Epic Games plans to announce a brand character throughout weeks leading into December, along with weapons that will be available in the beta. Sign-ups are now open for players to join up in the beta, and Epic Games has promised a variety of unique modes and maps.
Anything new by Epic Games is usually exciting, and I can’t wait to get my hands on this new shooter. The characters and setting sound unique, and when it comes to competitive shooters, Epic Games has it locked down. Epic Games is also currently working on Fortnite for PC, which plans to release on PC in late 2015.
