Update 2.0 is a milestone for any game, so with PayDay 2 it is only natural that the developers at Overkill wanted to go all out. Headlining their update is what they like to call Infamy 2.0, which allows players to boost their Infamy level to even greater lengths.
The 2.0 update as announced on the official page, allows for users to upgrade their infamy level an additional twenty levels. On top of these new levels, players have the ability to unlock up to eight different new and unique masks to utilize in the game. On top of this, Overkill has also added a fresh batch of patterns and materials to create your own unique mask for heisting. A whole new array of achievements have also been added to the game for fans to unlock.
Fans can go ahead and download the update now on PC if they wish to partake in the new Infamy levels in update 2.0 of Payday 2. The title was also recently announced as part of SteamOS and is celebrating a sale as a result. The sale offers up to 80% off on Payday 2. Check it out on the Steam Store.
Payday 2 is set to release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in June 2015 as the Payday 2: Crimewave Edition.
