Earlier this month, Microsoft announced that a ton of Xbox One exclusive franchises will now be available for Windows 10 PCs. Despite this, Phil Spencer promises the company is still committed to the console business.

Spencer addressed Xbox gamers’ concerns during a recent interview with IGN. He promises that Microsoft won’t be abandoning consoles even though a ton of exclusives games will be coming to PC.

Spencer: “The main concern that people have is: are we losing focus on the console ? Microsoft is backing away from its focus on the console and concentrates only on Windows? Not true at all. We are more committed to our console and the future of the console than we ever were.

Microsoft’s plan for the Xbox One in the near future sounds interesting since it wants the console to be more future proof. The company hinted that people could even upgrade their consoles in the future like PC gamers can and more.

Right now, many Xbox One games will soon be available on the PC. The Forza franchise is no longer exclusive to consoles and Microsoft has teased that several other series could be heading to Windows 10 as well.
