Team Ninja’s upcoming game called Nioh is set to launch for the PlayStation 4 later this year, but when it does it will come with a surprising level of control of its technical settings. Much like many PC games, the game will allow you to adjust the game’s frame rate and resolution.
The technical control was noticed by Twitter user ZhugeEX, posting screen shots of the settings screen that you can check out by clicking right here. The two options that alter the frame rate and resolution are Action and Movie.
It’s also worth noting that these options and the impact that they have on the gameplay are from the alpha version of the game, so much more tweaking of the settings will likely follow leading up to launch. For now, however, people are reporting that Movie mode definitely brings more crisp visuals.
The demo for Nioh just went live yesterday, though it will only be playable until May 5th. Completing the demo will grant you DLC for the main game that is set to launch this year.
