Sony’s rumored Super Smash Bros title has been revealed on GTTV.  It was thought that the show would hold the first details of the game, despite Sony trying to keep the game under wraps.  PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be a Super Smash Bros. style title but incorporating the Sony characters instead of Nintendo’s.

The announcement comes with an introduction to a handful of characters for the game.  So far, Kratos of God of War, Fat Princess, Sweet Tooth of Twisted Metal, Sly, and Radec from Killzone have all been announced.  With many others likely to arrive as the game heads towards its release.  Even more, 3rd party characters will also be making their way to the game, but none of that information was divulged on the show.

Stages in PlayStation All-Star Battle Royale will also see its stages set in Sony universes, in which the character’s games are set.  The title will be coming from SuperBot Entertainment which again, comes as no surprise as the developer for the game.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will arrive exclusively on the PlayStation 3 during holiday 2012.
