PlayStation Experience will take place in Anaheim, California this year and is scheduled for the weekend of December 9 and 10. In a recent post on the official PlayStation blog, some details about what the event will entail this year were given.
PSX 2017 will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center and Early Bird ticket holders will be given access to the event’s opening presentation on Friday, December 8 at 8:00PM PST. At the opening presentation, Shawn Layden, PlayStation Worldwide Studios’ Chairman, will announce updates on some upcoming games and some special guests will make appearances. General ticket holders will be able to take part in the event on December 9 from 10:00AM to 10:00PM PST and December 10 from 10:00AM to 10:00PM PST.
At the event, attendees will be able to experience hand-on gameplay with upcoming PS4 and PS VR games, as well as attending panels featuring studios such as Sucker Punch Productions and Media Molecule, who will be discussing their upcoming games Ghost of Tsushima and Dreams respectively. The floor space for the event has also been increased by 50% from previous years to make room for Gran Turismo Sport competition areas and a PlayStation Gear Store, which will be selling merchandise unavailable elsewhere.
