PlayStation Plus Customer Satisfaction Rate Under 25%, According To Poll

According to a new PlayStation Reddit poll, PlayStation Plus subscribers have not been happy with the service lately. The satisfaction rate is currently under 25% taken from a pool of nearly 4000 people.

The exact satisfaction rate is 23.1%, which is a massive drop from the 95% that a similar poll came to in 2012. This makes it a drop of over 70% in just four years, with a dissatisfaction rate currently sitting at 65.2%.

In order to make sure that the process for acquiring this data was legitimate, Reddit released the process by which they acquired the data.

  • The survey was stickied for a few days in /r/PS4, /r/Vita, /r/PS3 and /r/PlayStationPlus (with a note that question two only applied to /r/PS4).
  • Google Forms was used for the poll and a Google account was required to vote.
  • More people voted in this poll than /r/PS4’s final Game of the Year poll…by quite a bit.

While it seems hard to believe that the customer satisfaction rate would be that low for PlayStation Plus subscribers, there has definitely been more dissatisfaction being voiced lately. A lot of this is due to the free games they’ve been releasing every month, which mostly recently paled in comparison to Xbox’s free Games With Gold.
