More countries are jumping onto the Pokemon Go bandwagon. The European roll-out expands to Italy, Spain and Portugal today.
The official Pokemon Go Twitter page said: “Starting now, Trainers in Italy, Spain, and Portugal can download Pokémon GO officially from the Play Store or App Store.”
This means there are 8 official countries that the game has been released in. The aforementioned countries join Australia, New Zealand, USA, Germany and the UK.
The roll-out has to be in small amounts because Niantic has to make sure the servers can hold up. If too many countries are added in one go, this might mean the game’s servers will be down for hours and nobody will be able to play the game.
There’s not much else to say about the game as it has truly taken the whole world by storm. It is quickly becoming the most used app of all time. It has more active daily users than Twitter in the USA and has even surpassed Tinder in total downloads.
The game is also one of the most searched topics on Google. Just make sure to stay safe while playing the game. Don’t get hit by vehicles or annoy other people around you.
