Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon has a new update that is available for download that brings various fixes to improve gameplay according to the patch notes. Version 1.2. for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon fixes a glitch in the game where certain moves would cause the game to freeze.
The download is 539 blocks, so be sure that you have the space available for this update. If you choose not to download it, you will not be able to use the online features of the game. For those that have experienced the issue where using Curse, Forest Curse, Power Trick, and String Shot could cause the game to freeze during Live Competitions.
This is the second patch for the game since its late-2017 release on the Nintendo 3DS.
