It’s been a while since we’ve seen an Xbox One update for preview members, but Microsoft has released one as of today. It’s a small update so it shouldn’t take too long to download.
The update only does two fixes. Microsoft will be releasing an even bigger update for the Xbox One in late May or early June. Preview members are sure to get other updates on a more frequent basis in the coming weeks to prepare for it.
The update for preview members does the following fixes: Avatar Store Users with consoles set to ja-JP should now be able to purchase Avatar items Miscellaneous: Additional miscellaneous fixes and improvements.
As for the aforementioned bigger update, one of the more frequently asked requests has been background music. Background music has been a feature for the Xbox 360, but was sadly missing when the Xbox One launched. Phil Spencer mentioned it should be available in the North American Summer so it could be out soon.
As always, we’ll be sure to let you know about all of the updates that Microsoft releases for the Xbox One in the near future. Remember, you have to be a preview member in order to download today’s update.
