Sony is really trying to get behind the PlayStation Vita. Today at their Gamescom press confernece, the company announced that they will be slashing the price of the handheld, and will continue to deliver both big third party games, first party titles, and a continued onslaught of self-published indie titles.
The console will be cut down to $199 in North America. But Sony also says that they will be slashing the price of memory cards as well.
As for games, the company announced that Borderlands 2 is on the way, Football Manager 2014, Lego Marvel, Batman Arkham Origins, and slew of other titles will be arriving for the device in the coming months.
