PS Vita Update 3.30 Is Now Available For Download

The long awaited PS Vita update 3.30 is now available for you to download the next time you turn on your device.

Some firmware updates are boring as they are nothing more than just for “stability” purposes. PS Vita update 3.30 is not like this as you will be getting dynamic themes for the very first time.

Dynamic themes are awesome, but were only available for the PS3. Although you could change the background wallpaper on the PS Vita, you weren’t able to download dynamic themes. The new update allows you to do just that. Dynamic themes will also be available on the PS4 sometime later this year.

Also added on PS Vita update 3.30 is the ability for you to check the rarity of certain trophies. If you are a trophy hunter, this is a good way to see which ones have been hard to get. I’m pretty sure several “Platinum” trophies will be labeled as Ultra Rare for some of the more harder PS Vita games.

This update for PS Vita is the biggest yet in recent memory. Hopefully PS4 update 2.0 is coming soon too. Sony should be able to release it before the end of the year, but it would be nice if they indicated a release date for it.
