PSA: PlayStation VR Launch Bundle Is Still Available On GameStop & Best Buy Websites

PlayStation VR finally got a price and release month a couple of weeks ago after much waiting, with the first bundle pre-orders going live earlier this week on Tuesday. For those that are still looking into getting the PlayStation VR Launch bundle, there are two options still available for you right now.

The PlayStation VR Launch Bundle comes with the PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move controllers, and the PlayStation VR Worlds game. If you are interested in this bundle, your two options available right now are GameStop and Best Buy.

Both retailers have the bundle available for the $499.99 price, which you can order on their websites. The difference is that GameStop won’t put a hold on your credit card until right before shipping, while Best Buy will do that. This definitely would make GameStop the more attractive option in that case, though using PayPal or something may lead to immediate withdrawal of funds, so make sure before you order.

For those that might be hoping that Amazon still has stock, sadly that is not the case. They evidently had the biggest rush of people pre-ordering as they sold out in about five minutes on Tuesday when they first went up, with a second round a few days later lasting around 20 minutes only.

You have to wonder if it’s possible they are holding back some stock for other batches like this, considering they are sold out and these other two have some available. Either way, stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated on any other updates on pre-orders. Just remember that the non-bundle pre-orders will be starting on Tuesday, March 29.
