PSN is back, Welcome Back Package Delayed

Sony has restored the PlayStation Network starting with North America on Saturday. During the outage, Sony announced that they would be offering a welcome back package to gamers when the PSN returns, and now that it has, gamers are wondering where their free stuff is.

Sony has restored the PlayStation Network starting with North America on Saturday.  During the outage, Sony announced that they would be offering a welcome back package to gamers when the PSN returns, and now that it has, gamers are wondering where their free stuff is.  Nick Caplin of SCEE has provided an update which clarifies the timeline for the “welcome back package”.

Apologies guys, but it looks like there has been a slight delay in finalising the welcome back program and it should be tomorrow when we can share the details with you.

The exact plans for this “welcome back package” will contain hasn’t been revealed as of yet.  Stay tuned, it looks like Sony will let us know more about the compensation package very soon.
