Sony is pretty good about letting gamers know ahead of time when PSN will have any work done on it, usually by a good margin of time. Once again, they have revealed that PSN will be undergoing maintenance yet again next week.

As announced by Sony through the PlayStation forums, it was revealed that PSN will be undergoing maintenance next Monday night in the US. Specifically the period of time for maintenance from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM PT, when them estimating that it should be done in only two hours.

The good news is that this maintenance won’t be the kind that actually takes down PSN, but rather just being worked on. This means that you should still be able to sign into your PSN account and access your profile and play games, along with most other applications.

The PlayStation Store will not be accessible during this time for purchasing games or other items, with Account Management and PlayStation Video also being down at the time. The good news is that there are not really any huge games releasing next week on Tuesday at midnight to where it could be a concern if the PlayStation store downtime runs long.

They do recommend that you make sure your PS4 is activated as your primary console though, as that will guarantee you can still play your digital games even if there is downtime.
