While Quantum Break may not be getting the universal acclaim that Microsoft Studios was hoping for, it nevertheless is doing very well when it comes to the sales side of things. It was recently revealed that the game topped UK sales charts, though the news gets better from there.
Microsoft has just revealed that Quantum Break is the biggest selling new IP for them during this console generation. Xbox Studios Senior Category Manager, Jon Edney, said the following:
“We’re delighted that Quantum Break has been so well received by fans and critics. It’s a testament to the hard work, ambition and commitment of the team at Remedy that the game is already surpassing expectations.”
Quantum Break is available now for Xbox One and PC, with those who pre-ordered it getting Alan Wake and Alan Wake’s American Nightmare for free. Both DLC expansions for Alan Wake were recently made available for free for anyone to download, which you can learn more about by clicking right here.
