Rainbow Six Siege PC Beta Servers Are Down

by Damian Seeto

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege beta is not off to a good start for PC owners. This is because the servers are down.

Ubisoft announced on Twitter: “We are aware of an issue with PC servers for R6: Siege. We please ask for your patience while this is investigated.”

Ubisoft made a more clarified statement on the game’s official forum page that it outage is a global affair. It appears nobody that has access to the beta can play it for the PC unfortunately.

At least the server outage is happening during the beta. This is why betas are held in the first place for situations like this. It should give Ubisoft an indication on what to improve on when the game launches in December.

It was also good that Ubisoft delayed Rainbow Six Siege by two months. The game was originally going to come out in October and that might not have been enough time to iron out all the bugs and issues.

Obviously people are not happy about the servers being offline, although they’re not too mad since it’s only a beta. Let’s hope the servers are fixed soon so people can experience how unique the gameplay is.
