Ubisoft has announced the notes and release date for update patch 2.3 for Rainbow Six Siege. As always, PC gamers will be getting the patch before console owners.
Ubisoft announced all of the update patch details over on the official Rainbow Six Siege forums. The PC release date is March 30th (today) and should be rolling out very soon. The same update has a tentative release date of April 5th for PS4 and Xbox One.
Some of the changes made are: “Frost’s shotgun has reduced range, Buck’s Skeleton Key does now way blackberries environmental damage, SMG-11 recoil increased, Spawn locations tweaked to reduce spawn kills, Lag compensation tweaked to favor low-ping players
Ranked matchmaking will not start until ten players enter the lobby, Ranked reconnection mechanics adjusted to get players back in matches after connection drops, Casual matchmaking blackberries now gives weight to skill level, Reconnection extended to custom matches, Spectator room tweaks, Stricter anti-cheat detection and penalties, Numerous other fixes”
