It’s been a big year for Remedy with the release of their highly-anticipated Quantum Break, but since then the developer definitely has not been twiddling their thumbs. While they reveal that they will continue to support Quantum Break going forward, they also had some big news to share about their future.

The company revealed that they intend to make more games and to get them out more quickly going forward, which has resulted in them expanding into two separate development teams. They say that they have two games in the works right now, with one of them being a brand new collaboration with a new partner and the other being an early concept.

Remedy continues by saying that they are very excited to show you all of the things that they are currently working on, though they have learned not to reveal things before they are ready and will not be at E3 or Gamescom this year.

This unfortunately ends with the developer revealing that neither of the two games that are being developed now are Alan Wake games. They’re currently focused on other things, though they claim that they’re “exploring opportunities in other mediums to tell more Alan Wake stories.”
