Capcom has released a new Resident Evil 7 trailer featuring new images and story details of the upcoming ‘Not a Hero’ and ‘End of Zoe’ DLC chapters. The video helps understanding better the storyline of those extra episodes, which explain the aftermath to the events of the main adventure. Not a Hero is lead by series veteran Chris Redfield, who is sent to the Baker mansion along with a special task force in order to rescue some BSAA agents held hostage. On the other hand, End of Zoe focuses on the figure of Zoe Baker, and will reveal her ultimate fate.
Capcom recently launched another video showing gameplay footage of Not a Hero, clearly stating that the Redfield-led chapter would be focused on offering a much more action-oriented experience than the tale of Ethan Winters. In this new trailer, we also get to know that Lucas Baker will have a special protagonism on this additional story, as one of the main players in the biological experiments that took place in the Baker plantation.
End of Zoe is a much more mysterious piece of content, and so far we have only seen some cinematic scenes, but nothing of actual gameplay. The new trailer clearly states the player decisions of the main adventure that lead to these new events, so anyone who has not finished the game should not watch the trailer. Beyond that point, the video reveals a new character called Joe who could actually be the protagonist of the DLC.
Not a Hero will be available for free for all Resident Evil 7 owners on December 12, while End of Zoe will be launched on the same day for $14.99. If you want to have all in one package, the best option is to purchase Resident Evil 7: Gold Edition, which bundles the main game along with all DLC included in the season pass, and also launches on December 12.
