A Danish retailer has listed a possible release date for Star Fox Zero that could be plausible.
Danish retailer, CoolShop, has put up a release date for Star Fox Zero claiming that it will come out on February 26th, 2016.
Sometimes retailers just put up placeholder dates all of the time, but the February 26th, 2016 seems plausible. This is because this is on a Friday which is a day when most European games come out.
If the February 26th date sticks, this could mean the release date for North America would be February 23rd which falls on a Tuesday. Hopefully Nintendo soon makes an official announcement on this.
Not to mention, Nintendo stated that the game would have an early 2016 release. The game used to have a November 20th, 2015 release date until it had to be delayed until 2016.
The delay of Star Fox Zero kind of took a blow on the Wii U’s Holiday 2015 lineup. This year’s lineup does not seem to be as stacked as the Wii U’s impressive 2014. The Legend of Zelda is one other game that got delayed until 2016 after an announced 2015 release.
This will be the first Star Fox game to come out in so many years. Fans have been anticipating a proper sequel for a very long time.
