Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released on the same day as Fallout 4 on November 10th. Crystal Dynamics is not afraid of taking on the challenge.

GamingBolt had a chance to speak with Brian Horton who is the game director for Rise of the Tomb Raider. He’s not afraid of going up against Fallout 4.

The reason he’s not afraid is because he feels his game offers a different gaming experience. He also feels the quality of the game itself will be able to win over gamers. He also said he “feels good about that date“.

Horton also explains that Rise of the Tomb Raider is a game that will appeal to all types of Tomb Raider fans. Whether you liked the new reboot or the older games, there should be something here that will appeal to you. It was also mentioned the game offers something for both action and stealth fans as well.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is exclusive to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 this Holiday season. PC and PS4 gamers won’t get to play the game until 2016. It’s obvious that many PS4 and PC gamers will be playing Fallout 4. As for Xbox owners, it will be interesting to see which game they decide to buy/play first.

Microsoft and Crystal Dynamics chose the November 10th release date first. Nobody predicted that Fallout 4 would be coming out so soon as the game had been in development in secret for many years.
