Rise of the Tomb Raider will be getting its 3rd DLC pack next week, which is called Cold Darkness Awakened and is set within a Siberian Cold War research facility. It launches on March 29th and will cost $9.99 on Xbox One and PC.
Lara’s reason for going to the research facility is to discover the secret responsible for unleashing a dark past into the Siberian wilderness. Owners of the game’s season pass will be able to download the DLC as soon as it becomes available, with the season pass costing $29.99.
A snippet from the DLC’s description says that “As the illness seeps into the wilderness surrounding the base, Trinity soldiers transform into bloodthirsty killers who thrive on carnage. To prevent the affliction from spreading, Lara must rely on her wits, physical agility, and crafting abilities to overcome this new enemy and shut down the decommissioned base.”
Rise of the Tomb Raider had previously received the Endurance Mode DLC in December of last year, followed by the Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch DLC in January. Check out the complete experience trailer below.
