Rock Band Blitz will be removed from PS3 and Xbox 360 digital stores “on or before August 28th” according to a new announcement from Harmonix. The game was a trimmed down version of the Rock Band series, offering simpler play styles that worked better with less players. The big reason to own it though was that all 25 songs in the relatively cheap game could be carried over to later entries in the franchise, such as Rock Band 4. If you still want to do that, then keep reading for instructions.
As stated in the announcement, if you own or buy Rock Band Blitz on PS3 or Xbox 360 before it is removed, all you have to do to add the songs to your current RB game is search through the marketplace and add them normally. They should not have a price or charge you anything, but you do have to do a lot of looking to find them all. Here’s the full song list for Rock Band Blitz.
