Rockstar Games was due to infuse GTA Online player accounts with cold hard cash this week, but it looks like things have hit a snag. While the natives of Los Santos are getting restless, Rockstar has issued a statement, and it turns out that they are trying to make sure all issues are ironed out before moving ahead.

“We hope to have an update for you on that very soon,” read a reply on the Rockstar Newswire. “As others have mentioned here, we of course want to make sure player progress loss issues are addressed before providing everyone with their GTA $500K.”

Progress bugs have seemed to taken a back seat to numerous economy problems in GTA Online, recently. Players are finding bugs and exploits in GTA Online that fill their coffers with cash at a faster rate than just grinding it out.

There are even reports of players modifying game files with Billions of GTA Bucks, and then dumping them into the virtual world as gifts for other players. But if you’re looking to make an honest dishonest living in GTA Online Rockstar says they’ll have an update “soon”.
