Owners of Rory McIlory PGA Tour will be happy to know that free new golf courses will be added to the game later this year.

EA Sports made the exciting announcement over on the game’s official website. The first free course coming to Rory McIlory PGA Tour will be on August 11th. It is the TPC Scottsdale which is a course set in the Sonoran Desert.

People may recognize this course already as it was already offered as a pre-order bonus for buyers of the game. Now everyone will have a chance to play the new golf course next month.

The other free course will hit sometime near the end of this September. This is the East Lake Golf Club and this will also be free for all owners of the game.

Both courses will be available to use in the Play Now, Tour Pro career, and online modes. It’s nice to see that EA Sports is giving these courses for free and not just offering at as paid DLC.

Rory McIlory PGA Tour was criticized on launch for having less content than in the older Tiger Woods video games. Not only were there less players to choose from, but there the number of golf courses were tiny as well.

Hopefully EA Sports considers offering more free golf courses and other content in the near future. Maybe next year’s game will have more content.
