Rumor: Call of Duty: WW2 Release Date and PS4 Exclusive Deal Leaked

For a game that doesn’t officially exist, we sure are learning a lot about Call of Duty: WW2. The game is said to be a return to form for the series, taking us back to the World War 2 setting that built the franchise. So far Activision has not confirmed the game’s existence, beyond the fact that we know a CoD game is coming every single year. Now, along with the setting, we might have more info about the game, with a new leak focused on the Call of Duty: WW2 release date and PS4 exclusive deal.

According to a promotional poster spotted by a YouTuber, Call of Duty: WW2 will hit on November 3rd. Along with this info, the poster showed that Sony has retained their DLC exclusivity deal, with players on PS4 getting 30 days of exclusive early access to all new maps and content.

These leaks and rumors are starting to pile up here, but I’d still recommend exercising extreme caution. So far everything has come from some less than reputable sources, especially this last release date leak. We still want to share the info, especially since it does fit a lot with what is expected from this latest entry in the series. However, definitely take all of this as rumor and speculation until we hear from Activision themselves. I’d expect to see the official reveal hit at E3.

If they do turn out as true then fans have a lot to be excited about. Call of Duty has been stuck in either modern times or the near future for the last few entries. This has caused a bit of a drag on reception for these games, with fans wanting something more classically styled. If Call of Duty: WW2 ends up being the real game then they’ll certainly get it.
