[RUMOR] Evolve Ultimate Edition Coming to Xbox One and PS4

Remember Evolve? Turtle Rock’s 4 v 1 shooter released earlier this year but, in all honesty, it feels like it’s been longer. Although receiving generally favorable reviews, Evolve’s community quickly tailed off, with the lack of a single player component, amongst other things, proving fatal. The game also drew criticism for its slew of DLC, which saw fans pay extortionate amounts for post-launch content.

Now, it appears as though the game is set for a revival in the form of Evolve Ultimate Edition. Eagle-eyed Twitter user Wario64 spotted the listings of the Ultimate Edition on Amazon for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If the listings are to be believed, the Ultimate Edition will cost $60 but, so far, neither Turtle Rock Studios or publisher 2K have confirmed or denied the game’s existence.

Although details are scarce, most editions of this nature typically include all of the game’s DLC and, given that the game’s not changed much since its release, there’d be very little point in re-releasing the game without the added incentive of free downloadable content.

In any case, keep your eyes peeled for November 3rd, when Evolve Ultimate Edition is reportedly set to release.
