The release date for Rise of the Tomb Raider on PS4 may have been finally revealed by an Italian retailer. It is releasing almost one year after it came out on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
As listed by Gamestop Italy, the release date for the PS4 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider is October 11th, 2016. This falls on a Tuesday and is actually the same release date as WWE 2K17.
Remember, the listing is from Europe so the date comes first before the month. If you read the date as the North American way, it will be November 10th, although it’s unlikely Italy will write the date that way.
Rise of the Tomb Raider was a timed exclusive for Xbox One and Xbox 360 last year. It came out to the PC earlier this year so the PS4 console is the last platform to receive the game.
The game was one of the best to be released in 2015 so it’s great to see that PS4 gamers will finally get to see for themselves how good it is. There has been no word from Crystal Dynamics or Square Enix yet if this version has all DLC packaged in.
