It appears New Zealand actor Temuera Morrison is reprising his role as Boba Fett in Star Wars Battlefront.

A user dug around the PC version of the beta and found audio files for Boba Fett. He uploaded several clips of the character speaking on Soundcloud and it’s pretty obvious it’s Temuera Morrison doing the voice work.

Although this news should be categorized as a rumor for now because neither EA, DICE or even Temuera Morrison himself have confirmed that he is voicing Boba Fett in the new Star Wars game.

The Boba Fett Fan Club Youtube channel uploaded all of the sound clips and it is new material that is being recorded. You cannot mistake that it is Temuera Morrison voicing the character. Foreign actors usually have a hard time mimicking the New Zealand accent. I can tell for a fact that his is Mr Morrison and nobody else.

Whether this means Temuera Morrison will make a future appearance in the Star Wars movies remains to be seen. Many people would want to see the character on the big screen again as the spin-off movies could add him in again. Although Episode 2’s Daniel Logan could be old enough to play the character now if Morrison is too old.
