With Sekiro: Shadow’s Die Twice only a month and a half away from launch, the anticipation in on the rise. With information being slowly drip fed, fans of developer Fromsoft are hungry for anything new. This week we were treated to a short trailer showcasing the Corrupted Monk boss. We’ve seen a small amount of game-play of this boss during Gamescom 2018, but this new trailer shows up the bosses introduction sequence. This gives us more information than it seems. Many players were wondering how bosses will be introduced when first encountered, and now we’ve been given a look at just that. It seems that From is giving the bosses of Sekiro just as much attention as their previous titles. The corrupted monk is introduced with quick camera changes, a close up on the bosses twisted mask, and a stylish name plate, before the hulking figure launches into an attack against protagonist Sekiro.

Sekiro’s combat will focus more on dodging and parrying to stagger your enemy rather than dealing straight damage, lending to more fluid choreographed fights. I’m sure that the fight against the Corrupted monk will be as graceful as it will be deadly. Sekiro: Shadow’s Die Twice releases on March 22nd of this year, and will be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
