In a shocking revelation, Activision may release a Call of Duty game this November. Rumored to be Call of Duty: Ghosts, a new poster has surfaced online that says the new shooter will arrive on November 6th. A photo was taken of the poster, forwarded to Game Trailers, and subsequently plastered across the internet.

While Activision has already begun teasing fans about the next Call of Duty title, a reveal of the shooter is expected by May 1st.

The enticing aspects of this next Call of Duty game aren’t the name or setting, however. A recent retail listing outed Call of Duty: Ghosts to be utilizing a next generation engine for the game, which would be one feature that fans and naysayers have been clamoring for over the past few years.

While we don’t expect Activision to change the popular formula all too much, it’ll be interesting to see what the most popular franchise in gaming is doing to ring in the next-generation of consoles.
