Sony cancels cheap Beyond: Two Souls pre-orders

Last month you could pre-order Beyond: Two Souls at almost half price. It became clear rather quickly that this was an error on Sony’s part.

Now the company has cancelled all the orders and they will compensate their customers in return. They did this by e-mailing their customers saying their pre-orders got canceled. However as a gesture of “goodwill” the people who pre-ordered will receive a $5 coupon which can be used in the Sony Store.

Beyond: Two Souls is a PlayStation 3 Exclusive from the creators of Heavy Rain.  The game featuring Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe is due out in October for the PS3.
