Previously announced for the PlayStation 3 and PC, Sportsfriends is coming to the PS4. Announced earlier today on the PlayStation Blog, the collection of games which includes Johann Sebastian Joust, Hokra, Super Pole Riders, and Barabariball will release following the release of the game on the PS3. Â Today’s update did not reveal when to expect the game, but it should be sometime after the January ’14 release of Sportsfriends.
For those who supported the game via Kickstarter, all backers will get a PS4 version of Sportsfriends for free, and there could be a cross-buy promotion in the works as well.
The most well-known of the Sportsfriends games is probably Johann Sebastian Joust, and it looks like the PS4 version will not require that players use the PlayStation Move controller to play. Â Since the Dualshock 4 has a light bar on it, the game’s creator is looking to let players use it instead.
Local multiplayer fans look for it 2014.
