Square Enix Outlines Details On The Final Fantasy XV Demo

by Damian Seeto

Square Enix has released a press release that has given more details on the Final Fantasy XV demo.

As announced weeks ago, the Final Fantasy XV demo will only be available with first-run copies of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. It is only available for a limited time, and will be available for both physical and digital copies of Type-0 HD.

When you receive the Final Fantasy XV demo code, you will have to redeem the voucher before March 20th, 2016. This is one year after the release of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. Don’t leave the voucher around without redeeming it in 365 days or else you won’t be able to play the demo.

Square Enix also noted the Final Fantasy XV demo will be yours to keep. There’s no quota for the number of times you are able to play it, and nor is there a time limit to it too. However, they noted the demo is yours “until you decide to delete if from your console“. This might suggest you won’t be able to re-download the demo again if it’s gone from your console.

The last part of the press release said Square Enix won’t force you to delete the Final Fantasy XV demo off of your console. Like aforementioned, you can play the demo for as long as you want until the actual game comes out.
