Star Fox Zero Character Artwork Revealed

Star Fox Zero may have not been officially announced until E3 back in June, but we’ve known it was coming since Shigeru Miyamoto first teased it last year. The game is set to arrive by the end of the year and now the first official character artwork for the game has been revealed.

Scheduled to release by the end of 2015, Star Fox Zero is neither a sequel or reboot, but more of a reimagining of the past. The game may have been slammed by some after its debut for less than stellar looking visuals, but the leaked artwork looks fantastic.

The artwork, which has been provided by a member on NeoGAF, includes a very high quality image of each of the Star Fox crew, including Fox, Falcon, Peppy, and Slippy. In addition, there is also a group shot of the four that basically brings together the four individual images.

Each of the characters are highly detailed, down to Falcon’s individual feathers or the fur on Fox and Peppy. In fact, this is the most that Fox has looked like his classic SNES version from the cover since that time back in the ’90s.

You can check out the gallery of images for Star Fox Zero below and look for the game later this year exclusively for Wii U.
