Mattel’s Hot Wheels toy brand has now revealed some cars based on Nintendo’s famous Super Mario franchise.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary for Super Mario Bros., Hot Wheels is releasing some special toy cars to commemorate the memorable occasion.
Brazilian toy website, T-Hunted, found the images of the new toys that will be released in the near future. There will be six different designs that include vans, cars and more.
The six figurines you can get are: 8 Crate Delivery (Dr. Mario), A-OK (Mario Kart), Cool-One (Super Mario Bros. 2), Dairy Delivery (Super Mario Bros.), School Busted (Super Mario 3), Volkswagen T1 Panel Bus (Super Mario World)
The toys are expected to be coming out this October. These figures are sure to be a collector’s item for any Nintendo fans out there. Mario has been instrumental for innovating the video game industry as a whole.
It would have been cool if Hot Wheels eventually releases small toys based on the Mario Kart series. They don’t have to make the characters, but getting the karts themselves could be pretty neat to collect.
The Hot Wheels figurines shouldn’t be that expensive for you to buy. No price has been given yet, but small car toys usually aren’t that expensive.
