There are many different types of gaming deals out there, ranging from getting a discount on a game or maybe getting something free with it. One of the absolute best however is the always great buy two get one free sales, which Target is known for doing a few times a year. The last one they held was this past November and now it has been revealed they are doing yet another, though there is one very important restriction.
Starting next Sunday, March 5, Target will be having most every game available as part of their Buy Two Get One free sale that will run through the following Saturday, March 11.
The flyer for Target that is advertising the sale features some of the bigger games of the last few months, including Resident Evil 7: biohazard, For Honor, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Battlefield 1, NBA 2K17, Yoshi & Poochy’s Woolly World, Pokemon Sun, and Pokemon Moon.
It also has one other listed, the brand new Ghost Recon: Wildlands, which shows that new releases across Xbox One, PS4, and 3DS will work here. This also includes “full game downloads” according to the flyer as well, which is nice for those that like getting games digital with a redemption card.
The disappointing news though is that there is a restriction on this sale, which is that Nintendo Switch games are not included in the sale. The Nintendo Switch will be lunching on March 3, which is right before this sale starts. The flyer makes a point to advertise this, including games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1-2 Switch, and Super Bomberman R, but they are not eligible as part of the Buy Two Get One Free sale sadly.
Even with that being excluded, this is still a great deal, especially with plenty of fantastic games coming out just in the last few weeks like For Honor and the soon to be released Horizon: Zero Dawn that will be available by then.
