Upon revealing the Rage and Sorrow trailer announcing the release date focusing on the game’s overall theme and touching story of each character, ‘Tekken’ is back for another round of endless fighting in Tekken 7.  It seems Bandai Namco will be adding a new character to the roster, Eliza, originally from Tekken Revolution.  The female vampire will be obtainable as a pre-order DLC bonus when it hits shelves on June 2.

In the trailer, Eliza’s appearance and combat moves are pretty much identical to her Tekken Revolution character with the exception of some visual tweaks.  Posing in her scandalous red dress and devilish horns, Eliza strikes at her opponent with a series of combos.  Punching and kicking with every chance she’s got, while dozing off in middle of battle as even vampires need their beauty sleep!  Finishing them off with her signature move sucking the life out her foes.  Towards the end of the clip, French contender, Lili Rochefort shows up all pumped just in time to see Eliza taking a nap on the battlefield.  She is clearly offended by this, saying, “Wake up! How dare you fall asleep in my presence!”

Tekken was originally released in 1994 and become popular through arcade gaming.  As it rose to fame among other competing titles like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat to name a few.  Leading to multiple sequels, animated and live-action adaptations as well as crossing over into other games, the various fighting styles have taken the gaming community by force.  Recently, Tekken has announced that it has been featured in the official lineup of EVO 2017 (The Evolution Championship Series), global fighting game tournament, along with Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros., Injustice, BlazBlue and others.  Tekken 7 will be launching on June 2 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
