Bandai Namco has announced that not one, but two DLC fighters will be added to Tekken 7 at the end of the month as part of their Second Season. We’ve already received Anna Williams, Lei Wulong, Craig Marduck, and Armor King this Season, and now the roster is about get even crazier, literally. Revealed at EVO Japan 2019, the company stated that both, Julia Chang, and The Walking Dead’s Negan, will be released for the game on February 28.

Long time fans of the series will immediately recognize Julia Chang, who has been stalwart of the series since her debut in Tekken 3. Her move set is largely unchanged as well, utilizing her special juggle combos, where she hits her opponent into the air whilst continuously attacking them for a ongoing damage streak. While Changs inclusion into the game is welcome, Negan is the one character that every fan hasn’t stopped talking about since he was revealed at EVO 2018.

At last we finally have some solid gameplay for the villainous TV character, and he’s all about using his barbed-wire-bat, all the time. Negan’s combos seem very simple, he punches, he kicks, and then he follows up with the bat, rinse and repeat. It might not seem like much, but for a character such as Negan, you don’t need much when you’re a walking around with that weapon on your shoulders. Like every character in the game, both fighters will also have their own Rage Art moves. Chang’s is very much akin to her combo style, while Negan’s is arguably the most intimidating special move in the game.

As we stated earlier, Both Julia Chang and The Walking Dead’s Negan will be available for Tekken 7, across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 28. You can get these two fighters, as well as the other ones released for the Second Season with the Season Pass for $29.99. If you prefer to purchase the fighters separately, Chang will cost $4.99, and Negan will cost $7.99.
