The Walking Dead: Season Two will arrive in 2013, according to Telltale Games. Dan Connors made a confusing announcement that pegged the next season of the popular story driven game for 2014, but has since been clarified.
“The current estimated release window for Season two of The Walking Dead is for fall of ‘this’ year (2013), and not ‘next’ year (2014) as has been reported after a recent interview. We apologize for any confusion and thank you and all our fans for your continued excitement for Telltale’s series.”
The Walking Dead was a huge success for the developer in 2012. The game which arrived on a number of different platforms went on to win numerous Game of the Year honors from a variety of different gaming news outlets. Where will Telltale take the series in Season Two? We’ll have to wait until later this year to find out.
