Telltale’s games usually end up being available on practically every platform that can support them, but we’ve yet to see any of them on the Nintendo Switch. Not too surprising, as the system just launched a few months ago, but it is currently the hottest console out there, so it makes sense that the developer would want to get their series on there asap. It seems like that’s the case with two separate retailers leaking that two big Telltale series might arrive some time soon.
Batman and Guardians of the Galaxy have both appeared on a UK store and a Russian retailer. The Batman game listed here seems to be the first season, with a sequel prepped to begin releasing next month. Batman is also the only one with a release date listed, showing October 6th, though that could definitely be a placeholder or get changed at any time.
Actually, while two separate retailers listing these games is good evidence, this could all be an accident. Retailers often craft fake pages for games that they expect to be released, even when there’s no official word from the developer. Everyone anticipates that Telltale games will arrive on Nintendo Switch at some point, so these stores might have just whipped these up to get ready. Hopefully we find out soon.
