The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is, in large part, about the past. It brings with it a lot of familiar locations and classes that have been absent from ESO since it debuted years ago. But along with the old comes some things that are new, such as the newly revealed Warden character class. The Warden class is based around nature, and will be debuting within The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind.
“Revealing themselves to the world for the first time, Wardens possess a wide assortment of abilities to help defend the wilds and people of Tamriel,” explained Bethesda. “With the versatility to act as a damage dealer, a healer, or protector (or any combination in between) the Warden’s powerful and unique nature-based magic brings an entirely new element to ESO. The Warden can be fully customized based on your choices and your playstyle — summon the fearsome War Bear, encase yourself in rock-solid ice, or conjure healing plants from the soil.”
You can check out a gameplay video featuring the Warden down below. It gives some story background for the new character class, while also showing off some of their unique abilities and moves. The main theme of the entire character class seems to be this melding of man and nature, with their abilities specifically tailored around this idea.
This Morrowind expansion adds a ton of new content to The Elder Scrolls Online, including the titular landmass from the series’ third main entry. There will also be new modes, such as a player vs player arena, which should add some definite replay value to the entire game experience. We’ve seen some teases about what’s to come, but expect more soon as the release gets closer.
