The Kollector, Another Brand New Fighter, Revealed for Mortal Kombat 11

Recommended Videos

A new Kombat Kast must mean one thing, another fighter revealed for Mortal Kombat 11! Once again, a brand new warrior joins the fight, and this one might be the weirdest one yet, and that’s saying something. Dubbed The Kollector, this fighter has four arms at his disposal, with a freakishly scary outfit to boot. His four arms might suggest that he’s part of the Shokan race, but this has yet to be confirmed by the development team.

The Kollector is Shao Kahns right hand man who acts as the games tax kollector, except that he kollects trinkets and blood instead of money. As he is shown in the trailer, Kollector has a wide variety of combos that allow him to make full use of his arms, as well as using daggers in each one for maximum damage. As if this wasn’t enough, he can also teleport right next to his opponent to catch them by surprise and starting another combo.

Kollector also has a magic lantern that appears to house souls, we’re guessing from his “kollecting.” Like all other fighters in Mortal Kombat 11, we get to see his Fatality. Although not quite as flashy as others, it’s still fairly brutal as Kollector jumps onto his opponent and proceeds to rip their flesh off piece by piece. He then takes their head and puts it into his bag, you know, for kollecting.

The Kollector is just one of many fighters that are now being unveiled as we get ever closer to the games release date. We’re only a few weeks away, but expect NetherRealm Studios to show us even more in the coming days.

Mortal Kombat 11 launches on April 23 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. We played the Online Beta and gave our impressions which you can see here.
