It’s every PC Gamers favorite time of the year! The Steam Summer Sales have finally arrived, and with it comes a cavalcade of games across Steam’s massive library with insane discounts. This includes games new and old, but with so many to gander at, which ones would you end up buying? We sifted through most of the games and came up with our own little highlight list to give you an idea of what to expect.

  • Devil May Cry V: $35.99, Deluxe Edition: $53.49
  • Assassins Creed Odyssey: $29.99, Ultimate Edition: $47.99
  • Prey: $14.99, Deluxe Edition: $19.99
  • Monster Hunter: World: $29.99
  • Resident Evil 2: $39.59
  • Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age: $39.99
  • Valkyria Chronicles 4: $20.39
  • Mortal Kombat 11: $49.79
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider Croft Edition: $40.46
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition: $14.99
  • Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain: $11.99

As you can see, this is just a sliver of games that are discounted to a low price. Once you actually visit the site itself, you’ll notice the entire library is ripe full of sales, which can lead to buying too many games that you may end up never playing. So pick and choose before going crazy in the store. Along with the amazing price cuts comes the long standing tradition of both the website, and the launcher crashing within minutes of the sale going live.

This happens every single year, and it doesn’t surprise us that it continues to be a major part of the Steam Sales events. If you’re trying to access either one, here’s some sage advice: just wait it out. The sales aren’t going anywhere anytime soon, you have approximately two weeks to get everything you want before it ends, and the servers will most likely keep crashing for most of the the first day. So try and have some patience and check back on the site every now and then because it’s going to be like this for a while.

Along with the sales itself comes a special theme, this time revolving around a car racing event, called the Steam Grand Prix. This usually involves completing certain challenges each day during the sale, which often rewards gamer with special Steam cards and sometimes free games. Their are a lot of rules involved with this one, so you can head over to the aforementioned site and check it out if you’re interested in it. The Steam Summer Sales event begins today and will end on Tuesday, July 9.
