The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting a huge patch today with update 1.10. The new update seems to touch almost everything in the game in some way, with over 600 changes being applied. With big changes come even bigger file sizes though, with some on console possibly needing to do some cleanup to make room.
“It’s the largest collection of fixes, improvements and various enhancements we’ve brought to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to date,” reads the announcement on the official forums. “All told, it packs a pretty impressive six hundred changes, including fixes for a load of quests, optimizations that’ll make things smoother on PC and consoles, over one hundred fifty stability improvements to iron out hiccups, additional conversations with key characters that will enhance your relationships with them as well as the story as a whole, and a major and much-awaited fix that should take a good bit of the pain out of dealing with items in the Inventory by improving how items are ordered and sorted.”
You can read a list of the more important changes here, though CD Projekt Red explains that this is not an exhaustive list. These changes amount to a patch that comes in at 15GB on PS4 and Xbox One, with the PC stretching from 6GB to 15GB depending on a few factors.
