Marvel has near countless upcoming movies on their slate and Thor: Ragnarok is one of those. While the Thor movies may be some of the least talked about from Marvel, the third movie in the trilogy sounds like it may be shaping up to be one of the darkest.
According to Devin Faraci of Birth.Death.Movies, the surprising choice of a director with typically comedy experience in Taiki Waititi was for a reason, to balance out the incredibly dark story provided by writer Christopher Yost.
In fact, this sounds about right, based on another rumor that Faraci said he is hearing as well, the inclusion of the Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok. Waititi would be a great fit for interactions between those two, which would make the choice make a lot more sense.
Hulk is not only said to be a cameo, but playing a big role in the movie as him and Thor go on a “cosmic road trip together.” He also reports that we may see the first appearance in the MCU of Valkyrie here along the way as well, but how big of a role she has remains to be seen.
Thor: Ragnarok really is shaping up to be the best in the trilogy if these rumors prove to be true. The Hulk ones especially are sounding more and more legit, with multiple sources backing it up and Faraci usually having good sources on stuff like this.
