Tomb Raider fans eagerly awaiting for the rumored third entry in the reboot series will now have something to ease their anxiety, as a new comic miniseries featuring a new official storyline is launching in November. Comics publisher Dark Horse has made the announcement, revealing that the miniseries will be called ‘Survivor’s Crusade,’ and will explore the mystery behind the untimely death of Lara’s father.

Here is the synopsis of the series, via press release: “Lara Croft has unfinished business. After facing Trinity in Siberia, she’s driven to unravel the mystery behind her father’s death. After pushing her training to the limit and following clues that lead to more questions than answers, Lara is prepared to put everything on the line to uncover the truth.”

Survivor’s Crusade is being written, by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly. Ashley A. Woods and Michael Atiyeh are in charge of drawings and colors. Hannah Fisher will make the covers, with the number 1 being pictured above.

There are a lot of Tomb Raider projects in preparation at the moment, with the new Hollywood adaptation starring Alicia Vikander expected to premiere in March 2018, and an orchestral album with the music of the PlayStation trilogy being recorded by the original composer.

The first number of Tomb Raider: Survivor’s Crusade will be released on November 22.
